On 17th January 2019, Siemens attended Vietnam Economics Forum 2019, organized by the Party Central Economic Commission with the main theme of “Vietnam’s Dynamic and Open Economy: Achievements and the Path ahead”.
At the event, Siemens’ booth showcased the latest portfolio from the German company in areas of power generation, power transmission, and renewable energy (with the collaboration of Siemens Gamesa).
Siemens’ booth attracted the attention from guests with creative interactive experiences, such as virtual reality glasses displaying the gas turbine SGT-8000H and industrial turbine SGT-400, touch screen displaying the Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP) solutions, and a miniature model of the wind turbine.
The Vietnamese Prime Minister H.E Nguyen Xuan Phuc, during his attendance, visited Siemens’ booth and explored Siemens’ solution for energy.
At the event, the representative of Siemens, Dr. Pham Thai Lai – President and CEO of Siemens Vietnam – attended the discussion panel on “Climate Change and Energy Security – Challenges and Opportunities for Vietnam” as panelist, which was moderated by H.E. John Kerry, Former US Foreign Secretary. The discussion panel attracted great attention from participants.
