The handover ceremony of Siemens’s sponsoring package of drive technology equipments to Hanoi University of Technology took place on May 21st 2014 in Hanoi as part of our commitment to further supporting the engineering education in Vietnam.

The new Drive Technology training room is set up on the basis of the Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) concept – the most advanced technology in the field nowadays and PROFINET communication network. Basic training equipment including Siemens SINAMICS and Motors are provided in the first stage and will be completed gradually to total TIA in the next several years.

In his speech at the handover ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Pham Hoang Luong, Vice President of Hanoi University of Technology expressed his sincere appreciation for Siemens’s support for the university’s training room. He also emphasized the practical significance of this sponsorship as it has perfectly met the current needs of Hanoi University of Technology for drive technology equipments, helping to improve the quality of teaching while at the same time giving students great benefits from “seeing is believing”.

This sponsoring package is part of a drive technology sponsoring project initiated by Siemens to help Vietnamese engineering students put what they learn as theory into practice.
