Desigo Control Center (CC) was officially launched in Hanoi on Apr 10th 2015, marking a new milestone in building management. As the first-ever management station of its kind, Desigo CC allows customers to integrate all of their building systems – from heating, ventilation and air conditioning to fire safety and security, power, lighting and shading. Desigo CC enables flexible and energy-efficient building automation with the highest level of convenience and security.
Siemens developed the Desigo CC building management station from the ground up to provide a state-of-the-art, holistic and intuitive platform for improving building performance. One focus is integration: Desigo CC integrates all of a building’s systems, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning, lighting, shading, room automation, power and fire safety, as well as security functions such as video surveillance and intrusion detection. This interdisciplinary approach allows Desigo CC to display the status of different systems in real time, exploit synergies and reduce costs. For the first time, there is one common building software platform serving both building engineers and building duty guards. Desigo CC also positions customers for future growth: Additional systems can be added to the management station as needed after initial system installation.
“Siemens is a leading provider of Building Management Systems (BMS) in Vietnam. We are especially well-known for BMS Apogee, which have been used at many important construction projects such as Bitexco Financial Tower, the new head office of the Ministry of Police, Hanoi Museum, as well as headquarter office of PetroVietnam. And now, with Desigo CC, Siemens has become the market pioneer in integrating all existing systems and software into a single management station. Being built on the foundation of WinCC in industry automation, Apogee and Desigo in building automation and MM8000 in danger management system, Desigo CC is believed to be the most powerful platform to date as well as to be one of our best seller products in the time ahead”, said President and CEO of Siemens Vietnam, Dr. Thai-Lai Pham.
